About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of new data sources into the analytics ecosystem to expand organizational data coverage
- Design and implement a comprehensive data governance framework to establish quality standards and privacy protocols
- Develop and maintain robust reporting and business intelligence solutions using visualization platforms
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to enhance and evolve data infrastructure for scalability
- Partner with HR and business leaders to translate business questions into analytical approaches and workforce strategy recommendations
- Oversee and deliver critical mandatory and regulatory reporting requirements
- Act as a steward for data privacy and governance to ensure ethical use of sensitive people data
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience specifically focused on people or HR analytics
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Proven experience with visualization platforms such as Tableau or Looker Studio
- Proficiency with cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, including complex formulas and data modeling
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, HR, Social Sciences, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of statistical and data analysis tools and methods
- Advanced PowerPoint skills for creating compelling, data-driven presentations
- Experience with data integration tools or ETL processes
- Bilingualism in English and French
