About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized reporting and data automation support for HR practices and policies across the University.
- Coordinate complex reporting and data requests from various stakeholders.
- Query and combine data from disparate sources including SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, and ServiceNow.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
- Automate HR workflows using tools such as Power Automate.
- Support data pipeline projects, including testing, data cleanup, and leveraging solutions like Azure Data Factory.
- Interpret complex human resources data to provide actionable insights and data-driven consultation.
Requirements
- University degree in commerce, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or human resources management (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Data Analyst, People Analyst, or Business Intelligence role.
- Proven experience analyzing large HR datasets and extracting data from enterprise systems like SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, and ServiceNow.
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience with workflow automation solutions such as Power Automate.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SpinifexIT to create custom reports in SAP ECC.
- Familiarity with statistical software or programming languages such as R, Python, or SPSS.
- Experience applying predictive analytics, data mining, or advanced people analytics methodologies.
- Experience working within a heavily unionized or post-secondary environment.
