People Advisory M&A Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and consulting to M&A clients regarding people issues, including Talent, Reward, and Benefits.
• Support client engagements with Corporate HR and Finance to assess needs and deliver M&A support strategies.
• Lead complex multi-country M&A projects such as HR due diligence, carve-outs, and post-merger integration.
• Develop M&A playbooks, HR readiness training, and advice on global grading, compensation, and benefit design.
• Support marketing activities, new business endeavors, and external intellectual capital development.
• Collaborate with global Lead Relationship Managers to identify growth opportunities and expand client revenue.

Requirements

• Proven M&A experience with a background in Retirement, Reward, or Health & Benefits.
• Experience working within the financial services sector in an M&A capacity.
• Background in professional consulting.
• Strong project management skills and high level of organizational ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work effectively in a global environment and navigate cultural nuances.
• Self-motivated with the ability to lead teams and work remotely with international colleagues.
