Pentesting Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Personally lead and execute penetration testing engagements across web applications, APIs, cloud environments, and networks
• Manage and mentor a team of pentesters and security engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Oversee engagement scoping, execution quality, and reporting standards to ensure findings are actionable
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex findings and client questions
• Partner with Sales on technical discovery calls, scoping discussions, and proposal input
• Track and improve delivery metrics including SLA adherence and client satisfaction
• Contribute to the design and refinement of new service lines like Red Teaming and AI/LLM testing

Requirements

• 6-8+ years in offensive security with strong hands-on experience in penetration testing or red teaming
• 2-3+ years in a technical leadership or management role within a consultancy or security team
• Proven ability to personally execute high-quality penetration testing engagements
• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and frameworks (OWASP, ASVS, WSTG, NIST 800)
• Working knowledge of compliance contexts such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with engineers and executives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SaaS, FinTech, or HealthTech companies
• Familiarity with PTaaS or portal-driven delivery models
• Offensive security certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, or OSCE
