Penetration Testing Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage penetration testing engagements across infrastructure, web, wireless, and applications.
• Define engagement scope, objectives, testing methodologies, and rules of engagement.
• Perform advanced penetration testing using manual and automated techniques to identify and validate vulnerabilities.
• Review and validate technical findings to ensure reports are accurate, risk-rated, and actionable.
• Present technical findings and executive summaries to customer stakeholders and conduct remediation workshops.
• Mentor and develop penetration testers through technical coaching and skills development programs.
• Ensure compliance with NCSC Jordan licensing requirements and internal security policies.
• Support service development initiatives to expand offensive security capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven track record with at least 5 completed penetration testing projects.
• At least one valid NCSC-approved certification (e.g., CPENT, CEPT, OSCE, LPT, CPT, GPEN).
• Deep hands-on skills in network, web, wireless, and application testing.
• Strong knowledge of industry methodologies including OWASP, PTES, and OSSTMM.
• Proven leadership ability and experience presenting to client executives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Advanced credentials such as OSCE, CPENT, LPT, or GPEN.
• Experience in red teaming or working within an MSSP/consultancy offensive practice.
