Penetration Tester

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing across external/internal networks, web applications, APIs, wireless environments, and infrastructure
• Identify, validate, and demonstrate security vulnerabilities and attack paths
• Assess exploitability, business impact, and risk exposure
• Develop detailed technical findings and remediation recommendations
• Produce high-quality penetration testing reports including risk ratings and attack scenarios
• Perform security validation and retesting following remediation efforts
• Ensure all testing activities adhere to approved scope, rules of engagement, and regulatory requirements
• Stay current on emerging threats, attack techniques, and offensive security tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Intermediate Diploma from a recognized institution
• Minimum 3 years of practical cybersecurity experience
• Demonstrated participation in at least two completed penetration testing projects
• At least one valid NCSC-approved certification (e.g., CEH, CREST CRT, OSWP, OSCP, or CompTIA PenTest+)
• Hands-on offensive skills in network, web, and application testing
• Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, and Metasploit
