Penetration Tester

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or participate in Red/Blue Team activities during NATO military exercises
• Perform web, infrastructure, and application-level penetration testing
• Conduct security design reviews to ensure compliance with NATO policies and directives
• Provide security consultancy and advice to various projects and entities
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including the NCIA Configuration Control Board and Security Accreditation Boards
• Brief technical and executive-level stakeholders, including flag officers, on security reports and testing outcomes
• Collaborate with the Head of the Penetration testing Cell and other internal/external stakeholders

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in web application and IT infrastructure penetration testing
• Expertise in network security architecture design and assessing vulnerabilities in OS, software, protocols, and networks
• Proficiency in system and network administration for UNIX and Windows systems
• Experience using penetration testing tools, techniques, and recognized methodologies
• Scripting skills in at least one of: Perl, Python, Ruby, or shell (bash, ksh, csh)
• Technical knowledge in cryptography, authentication, security protocols, and malware protection
• Ability to evaluate risks and formulate mitigation plans
• Proven ability to write structured technical reports and executive summaries
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
