About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pelvic health physical therapy for women, including pelvic pain, pregnancy, postpartum, and incontinence care
- Perform thorough evaluations and internal pelvic floor assessments
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Lead the growth and direction of the women’s pelvic health program
- Establish clinical protocols, outcomes tracking, and best practices
- Mentor and support pelvic health clinicians and staff
- Support community outreach and referral development with OB/GYNs and midwives
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Tennessee
- 3–5 years of experience in women’s pelvic health physical therapy
- Advanced pelvic health training (e.g., Herman & Wallace, APTA Pelvic Health)
- Experience with internal pelvic floor examination and treatment
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Board Certification in Women’s Health (WCS) or Pelvic Health (PRPC, CAPP-Pelvic)
- Prior leadership, mentoring, or program development experience
- Passion for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
