Pelvic Floor Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pelvic floor assessments and evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Implement manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and behavioral modification
• Educate patients on pelvic floor anatomy and self-management
• Prescribe home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EHR systems
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
• Communicate with referring physicians and healthcare teams

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Arizona
• Specialized training or certification in pelvic floor physical therapy
• Expertise in assessing and treating pelvic floor dysfunction
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong knowledge of pelvic floor anatomy and physiology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with manual therapy techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with biofeedback or ultrasound technology
• Experience working with diverse patient populations
• Commitment to continuing education
