Pellet Mill Operator

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment performance and make tooling changes to optimize throughput and quality
• Perform and document required equipment inspections and maintenance
• Adjust machine components to regulate speed, pressure, temperature, and material flow
• Monitor machine operations using gauges, thermometers, and voltage meters to detect malfunctions
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and housekeeping to required standards
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and complete accurate reporting
• Escalate operational issues promptly for resolution

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in mathematics and measurements
• Ability to read data and trends for process adjustments
• Proven record of upholding safety standards
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noisy industrial environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for up to 12 hours
• Ability to climb heights exceeding 100 feet and work on vertical ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least two years of previous manufacturing experience
• Experience in equipment operation and control
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Experience with routine equipment maintenance
