Peer Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Use lived experience of gambling harm recovery to support and inspire hope in others
• Provide support to individuals and groups within the GambleAware service
• Assist people in accessing GambleAware services through a lived experience perspective
• Support the Community Coordinator in building local community connections
• Complete administrative tasks including case notes and reports

Requirements

• Lived experience of the personal impacts of gambling harm and related recovery
• Certificate IV in Community Services or Mental Health (or willingness to obtain while working)
• Current NSW driver's licence
• Ability to undergo a national police history check and working with children clearance
