About the role
Responsibilities
- Use lived experience of gambling harm and recovery to support and inspire hope in others
- Provide support to individuals and groups within the GambleAware service
- Assist clients in overcoming barriers to accessing support and connecting with services
- Support the Community Coordinator in building meaningful community connections
- Complete administrative tasks, including case notes and reports
Requirements
- Lived experience of the personal impacts of gambling harm and related recovery
- Certificate IV in Community Services or Mental Health (or willingness to obtain while working)
- Current NSW driver's licence
- Ability to undergo a national police history check and working with children/vulnerable people clearance
