About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee day-to-day operations of the ACGME residency and fellowship training programs
  • Manage resident compliance, including tracking allowances and reimbursements
  • Coordinate residency program events, meetings, and on-site activities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, faculty, and visitors
  • Coordinate residency space and maintain relationships with external partners like Sacred Heart Hospital
  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Program Director and Program Administrator

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Two years of clerical or healthcare coordination experience (or equivalent education/experience)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills across multiple platforms (email, phone, in-person)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, graduate medical education, or the health sciences
  • Experience in the higher education industry
  • Background in financial activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, or budget maintenance
  • Experience planning and coordinating conferences, workshops, or large-scale events
