Pediatric Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Provide expert surgical care for pediatric patients managing congenital and acquired conditions
• Diagnose, plan, and perform surgical procedures tailored to the unique needs of children
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Support families throughout the surgical process and post-operative care
• Stay current with the latest advancements and technologies in pediatric surgery

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a General Surgery residency and a Pediatric Surgery fellowship
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Surgery
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric surgical practice
• Active medical license to practice
• Proficiency in a broad range of pediatric surgical procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
