Responsibilities

• Partner with pediatricians and advanced care practitioners to provide preventive, primary and urgent care in homes and the institute
• Provide highly personalized nursing care activities for pediatric patients
• Perform minor procedures including vaccinations, phlebotomy, and peripheral IV insertion
• Perform point-of-care testing such as rapid covid, flu, and strep testing
• Perform sample collections and processing utilizing lab equipment
• Compile visit summaries and complete medical paperwork
• Manage administrative tasks such as inventorying medication and ordering supplies
• Communicate with clinical staff in a team-based model of care
• Provide education to members regarding medication kits, telemedicine tools, and acute/chronic condition management
• Triage member calls for possible sick visits
• Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and DEA credentials
• Maintain medical records for members

Requirements

• Current Registered Nursing License
• 2+ years of experience as a practicing RN
• Regular experience in phlebotomy and IV placement
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for home visits
