Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Partner with pediatricians and advanced care practitioners to provide preventive, primary, and urgent care both in-clinic and via home visits
• Provide highly personalized nursing care and develop strong relationships with pediatric members and their families
• Perform minor procedures including vaccinations, phlebotomy, and peripheral IV insertion under provider direction
• Conduct point-of-care testing in the home, such as rapid COVID, flu, and strep testing
• Perform sample collection and processing using institute lab equipment
• Compile visit summaries, complete medical paperwork, and maintain accurate medical records
• Triage member calls for potential sick visits
• Provide patient education regarding medication kits, telemedicine tools, and management of acute or chronic conditions
• Manage clinical administrative tasks including inventorying medication and ordering supplies

Requirements

• Current New York Registered Nursing License
• 2+ years of experience as a practicing RN
• Regular experience in phlebotomy and IV placement
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for member home visits
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
