Responsibilities

• Partner with pediatricians and advanced care practitioners to provide preventive, primary, and urgent care in homes and at the institute
• Provide highly personalized nursing care and develop strong relationships with pediatric members
• Perform minor procedures including vaccinations, phlebotomy, and peripheral IV insertion
• Conduct point-of-care testing such as rapid COVID, flu, and strep testing
• Perform sample collections and processing using medical testing machines
• Complete clinical forms, paperwork, and maintain medical records
• Manage administrative tasks including inventorying medication and ordering supplies
• Communicate with primary and specialty clinical staff in a team-based model
• Provide member education regarding medication kits, telemedicine tools, and acute/chronic condition care
• Triage member calls for possible sick visits

Requirements

• Current FL Registered Nursing License
• 2+ years of experience as a practicing RN
• Regular experience in phlebotomy and IV placement in pediatric patients
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
