Pediatric Phone Triage RN

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote patient assessments and provide clinical triage advice
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of care
• Process prescription refills and prior authorizations
• Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR systems
• Provide medical education and counseling to patients and caregivers
• Adhere to established clinical guidelines and compliance standards

Requirements

• Active California (CA) RN license (must be CA specific, not part of multi-state compact)
• Must reside within the United States
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical pediatric experience
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in telephone triage or remote patient care
• Familiarity with Schmitt-Thompson protocols
• Additional RN licensure in Oregon
