Pediatric Nursing Clinical Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical instruction that aligns with course objectives and institutional standards
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to support student learning
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies, including technology-enhanced learning, to accommodate various learning styles
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to promote academic growth
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
• Serve as an academic resource for students, offering guidance on coursework and study strategies
• Model professional behavior and ethical conduct in all interactions with students and colleagues

Requirements

• Must reside in the state of Ohio
• Completion of an approved professional nursing education program
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)
• Active, unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• At least two years of experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR
• Clinical experience in pediatric nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or recent employment with Nationwide Children’s Hospital
• Experience working in a pediatric healthcare setting
