Pediatric Dermatologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pediatric skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, birthmarks, and genetic skin diseases
• Perform dermatological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for infants, children, and adolescents
• Conduct dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and minor surgical interventions
• Collaborate with pediatricians, allergists, and other specialists to provide integrated patient care
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and skin care management
• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and patient safety standards

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a recognized residency in Dermatology
• Board Certification or equivalent specialty certification in Dermatology
• Eligibility for or possession of a valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship or specialized training in Pediatric Dermatology
• 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Dermatology
• Arabic language skills
