Pediatric Clinical Visiting Professor

Responsibilities

• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering pediatric care
• Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives through clinical teaching
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback and remediation as required
• Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student knowledge and skill competency
• Maintain current knowledge of agency and clinical policies, procedures, and expectations
• Serve as a professional role model for students and staff in areas of collaboration, communication, and excellence
• Collaborate with college administration and faculty to improve student satisfaction and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• 2+ years of experience within the last five years in the practice of Pediatrics as a registered nurse (Required)
• Professional Nurse licensure in the state of practice (Required)
• Excellent communication skills with a high level of initiative and prudent judgment
