Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership in evidence-based oncology nursing practice, education, consultation, and research.
• Support MSK's pediatric cancer patients and the nursing staff providing their care.
• Coordinate the implementation of practice standards across multiple clinical sites.
• Promote a patient-centered environment through collaboration with nursing leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate positive quality outcomes related to nurse-sensitive indicators and patient/staff satisfaction.
• Disseminate oncology nursing practice standards and research findings through abstracts and presentations.

Requirements

• Current New York RN license with CNS qualification.
• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• National certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make timely, effective decisions.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex environment across multiple treatment sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of related pediatric nursing experience.
• Experience in an advanced nursing role.
• Oncology nursing experience.
• NJ State RN and CNS qualification.
