Pediatric Clinical Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical supervision and instruction to nursing students in a pediatric setting
• Plan clinical experiences and evaluate student performance based on course objectives
• Deliver documented feedback and provide remediation to students as required
• Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student learning needs
• Grade homework, quizzes, tests, and clinical paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintain current knowledge of agency clinical policies and procedures
• Communicate student and agency concerns to the course coordinator

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Oklahoma
• At least two years of professional nursing experience within the last five years
• Subject matter expertise in pediatrics
• Ability to work onsite in a clinical setting, typically during 12-hour rotations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in teaching or precepting nursing students
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine passion for nursing education and lifelong learning
