Pediatric Clinical Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical supervision and instruction to nursing students in a pediatric setting
• Plan and implement clinical experiences that align with course objectives and program outcomes
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented, timely feedback and remediation
• Develop written clinical assignments tailored to student knowledge levels and skill competencies
• Grade homework, quizzes, tests, and clinical paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintain current knowledge of agency clinical policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the course coordinator and clinical partners to ensure high-quality student experiences

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Delaware
• At least two years of professional nursing experience within the last five years
• Exceptional subject matter expertise and strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Illinois RN License (required to teach all courses; assignments prioritized to those with this license)
• Previous experience in teaching or precepting nursing students
