Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments for pediatric patients
• Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on age and medical history
• Administer general, regional, and sedation anesthesia for pediatric procedures
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and ensure safe recovery
• Manage pediatric airway emergencies and provide advanced life support
• Deliver acute and chronic pain management services
• Participate in neonatal and pediatric emergency resuscitation and trauma care
• Collaborate with pediatric surgeons, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with UAE regulations
• Supervise junior physicians and anesthesia technicians

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• MD/DNB/Arab Board/CCT/American Board or equivalent in Anesthesiology
• Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Valid MOH license or eligibility for licensure
• 5–8 years of post-specialty experience in pediatric anesthesia
• Expertise in pediatric and neonatal anesthesia
• Strong knowledge of pediatric airway management
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in children's hospitals or tertiary care centers
• GCC healthcare experience
• Experience in neonatal surgery, pediatric cardiac surgery, or neurosurgery
