Pediatric Anesthesiologist & Pain Management Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric anesthesia care across inpatient and outpatient surgical settings
• Deliver perioperative pain management and collaborate with multidisciplinary pain teams
• Participate in care at Children’s Wisconsin Milwaukee Campus and affiliated ambulatory surgery centers
• Support and optimize patient safety, quality outcomes, and perioperative workflows
• Contribute to the clinical education of fellows, residents, medical students, and other trainees
• Engage in academic activities including research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives
• Foster collaborative relationships with surgeons, proceduralists, and hospital leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Wisconsin
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to academic medicine and high-quality pediatric care

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Fellowship training in Pain Management
• Interest in clinical research and continuous improvement initiatives
