About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and sustainment of the PEAK operating system to optimize operational workflows and site performance.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational discipline throughout the distribution center.
- Align continuous improvement initiatives with site master plans using Lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Coach and develop leaders and frontline teams on PEAK principles and problem-solving methodologies.
- Facilitate kaizen events, operational reviews, and improvement workshops to drive measurable operational gains.
- Develop and execute the site productivity strategy to achieve annual operational and financial targets.
- Manage the site productivity project funnel, including identification, prioritization, and validation of initiatives.
- Analyze operational performance data to identify trends and develop productivity reporting, scorecards, and dashboards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize labor utilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Supply Chain, or an equivalent degree.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution leadership role.
- 3+ years of experience in a continuous improvement or process improvement role with a proven track record of results.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into action.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for training, summits, and network collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and driving organizational change.
