About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop new product solutions to meet customer needs, specifically focusing on film label design projects.
- Drive R&D projects and technology platforms across multiple divisions and countries in the Asia Pacific region.
- Collaborate with product managers, business development, and sales teams to identify and transform market opportunities into real products.
- Partner with operations, procurement, and supply chain functions to develop and qualify new materials.
- Provide technical support to various functions and maintain connections with global technical experts for effective communication.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in New Product Development with a proven track record of project delivery.
- Master's degree or above in Material Science, Printing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) with a required CET-6 certification.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and translate customer needs into technical specifications.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills within cross-functional and global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in film or adhesive-related development.
- Knowledge of the paper, coating, or printing industries, including label and packaging applications.
