Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of media preparation, washing, and equipment sterilization to support purified antigen production.
• Lead and develop a unionized team of up to 20 staff members, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure strict compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and HSE procedures to maintain inspection readiness.
• Oversee production schedules, raw material availability, and inventory accuracy using SAP.
• Monitor and communicate operational metrics, ensuring timely completion and release of Batch Production Records (BPRs).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean management systems to enhance process efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a safe workplace by supervising compliance with health and safety legislation and responding to incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science (Microbiology, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related field).
• 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing and quality environments.
• 2-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and documentation standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related Science.
• Experience working within a unionized environment.
• Proficiency with SAP and SPC data entry/monitoring.
