PCS Taiwan Technology Director

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior leader for Corning PCS in Taiwan, with full accountability for regional performance and alignment to global objectives.
• Support leadership in the execution of manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations functions.
• Act as a key interface for strategic customers and partners in Taiwan, managing executive engagement and roadmap planning.
• Partner with global PCS leadership to execute business strategy, capacity planning, and investment priorities.
• Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk management across all site activities.
• Champion Corning culture and values while driving talent development and building high-performing teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology, manufacturing, or general management.
• Experience within the semiconductor, photonics, or advanced packaging industries.
• Proven track record of leading large, multi-function organizations with site or country-level accountability.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor and photonics technology and high-precision manufacturing environments.
• Experience working within a global, matrixed organization and managing strategic customer relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or MBA.
• Established professional relationships within the regional photonics and semiconductor ecosystem.
