PCS Scrubber Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor scrubber performance metrics including flow, pressure, and particle counts to optimize operation.
• Lead Kaizen and poka-yoke activities to mitigate contamination trends and improve processes.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and detailed corrective-action records.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures using root-cause analysis tools such as 5-Why, Pareto, and fishbone diagrams.
• Draft, review, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
• Coordinate spare-part logistics and inventory for critical scrubber components.
• Collaborate with fab engineers, maintenance staff, and suppliers on equipment upgrades and projects.
• Manage budgets by building cost models for capital purchases and tracking spend.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or technical degree preferred (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education).
• Proven experience in a semiconductor fab or clean-room environment.
• Experience with equipment operation, maintenance, or design.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong data analysis skills using tools like MATLAB, Python, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to abatement or particle-control equipment.
• OSHA 30-hour Industrial Safety certification.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Familiarity with basic PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell) and LabVIEW.
