About the role

Responsibilities

  • Rework, assemble, and debug printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs)
  • Inspect incoming boards to IPC-610 Class 2/3 standards
  • Apply, remove, and rework conformal coating, staking, and other polymeric adhesives
  • Lead form components to match engineering footprints and drawings
  • Work with cross-functional engineering teams to support new developments
  • Collaborate with design engineers to develop and document future activities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar industries
  • Electrical rework and soldering skills (0201 components)
  • Wire crimping and harness assembly experience
  • Familiarity with precision calibrated tools (calipers, torque wrenches, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week

Preferred Qualifications

  • A.S. in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering technology
  • J-STD-001 certification
  • Experience working in a clean room environment
  • Experience with electrical schematics and PCB design files (e.g., Altium)
  • Experience using EE bench test equipment (power supplies, multimeters)
  • Advanced soldering and rework skills (BGA or high-density packages)
