PCBA Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own PCBA readiness from EVT to MP and lead DFM/DFA/DFT reviews
• Partner with design engineering to eliminate manufacturability risks
• Validate SMT process windows and be physically present during builds for real-time resolution
• Drive first-pass yield (FPY) and DPPM improvements through root cause analysis
• Establish documentation, control plans, and ECO processes for scaling
• Partner with supply chain on cost-down and second-source strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years in PCBA Product Engineering, NPI, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience industrialising complex, high-density PCBAs
• Knowledge of 12+ layer stackups, controlled impedance, and HDI
• Experience with fine-pitch BGA assembly and high-power boards
• Hands-on factory experience with Taiwan PCB fabs and SMT partners
• Fluency in Mandarin and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI accelerators, GPUs, or server boards
• Exposure to high-speed interfaces like PCIe and DDR
• Experience scaling from prototype to volume production
• Experience in a startup or fast-growth hardware environment
