About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design PCB layouts from engineering mark-ups, schematic diagrams, or simulation results
  • Create PCB artwork by converting CAD drawings into Gerber files for suppliers or in-house prototyping
  • Design PCB arrays and solder stencils from scratch, including preparing necessary artwork
  • Generate Item Numbers, Bills of Materials (BOM), and release documentation into the PLM system
  • Provide design input to Mechanical and Electrical Engineers regarding enclosures and circuit simulation
  • Maintain and review Schematic and PCB component libraries based on design rules and supplier recommendations
  • Review and approve working Gerber files or check-plots provided by manufacturers
  • Communicate with PCB, LTCC, and stencil manufacturers to resolve documentation and engineering queries

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF and multilayer printed circuit board design
  • Proven expertise in designing complex RF and multilayer PCBs, including electrical, mechanical, and thermal considerations
  • Proficiency with modern CAD/CAM design tools such as OrCAD, Altium Designer, AutoCAD, or DraftSight
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with at least 3 years of RF PCB design experience
  • Working knowledge of ERP tools such as AS/400 or SAP
  • Experience with PLM systems, such as Arena
  • Ability to customize CAD software to improve performance and productivity
