PCB Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and layout advanced PCBs with high-speed digital interfaces and robust power architectures
• Specify and integrate power delivery components such as DC-DC converters, LDOs, and filters
• Lead bring-up and debugging of hardware prototypes through structured testing and fault analysis
• Assist in the design and implementation of control and measurement electronics for experimental setups
• Maintain and manage component libraries for accuracy and lifecycle compliance

Requirements

• Experience designing multi-layer PCBs with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, USB)
• Strong background in board-level power management and PDN analysis
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools like Altium, KiCad, or Cadence
• Hands-on experience with fine-pitch, high pin-count components like FPGAs and BGAs
• Ability to debug prototypes using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers
• Familiarity with DFM/DFT principles and system-level integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to perform SI/PI simulations for high-speed interfaces
