PC Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
• Provide technical support and guidance to users via phone, email, chat, remote, or in-person interactions
• Support County staff at both local and remote locations
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams as required
• Create and maintain incident work-log entries and databases for tracking purposes
• Provide desk-side training for new employees on standard desktop applications including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in a related Information Technology field or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a desktop support, helpdesk, or technical support role
• Proficiency with Google Workspace environments, including Gmail, Calendar, and Drive
• Experience with client-facing consulting engagements
• Ability to pass a background check and verification process
