Payroll Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processes for headquarters and high-volume distribution center employees using ADP
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
• Oversee processing of new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay rate changes
• Review and approve payroll transactions, including general ledger entries and tax filings
• Reconcile W-2s and manage year-end payroll requirements
• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate the payroll staff
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and wage/hour regulations (FLSA)
• Partner with the Senior Payroll Manager to audit employee records and payroll databases
• Identify opportunities for process automation and system optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in payroll administration
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Advanced proficiency with ADP and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Comprehensive understanding of US payroll tax principles and federal/state regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
