Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a salesforce of 30,000+ employees
• Review and update salary structure components and validate various payouts
• Oversee the Payroll Portal for publishing payslips, TDS sheets, and Form 16
• Manage investment declarations and proof collection processes
• Ensure adherence to statutory deductions, remittances, and compliance deadlines
• Coordinate with payroll and audit partners for timely deliverables
• Manage vendor relationships, tracking SLA adherence and invoice processing
• Develop and update SOPs, checklists, and dashboards for payroll processes
• Identify opportunities for workflow automation and process improvement

Requirements

• Master’s degree in HR, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing and compliance
• Strong understanding of Indian payroll laws and statutory deductions
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills

• Exposure to piece-rate payroll
