Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute payroll for employees across Canada, supporting multiple pay frequencies with accuracy and timeliness
• Meet defined SLAs for ticket resolution, payroll processing, and calculation accuracy
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll transactions and reporting
• Validate payroll data across HRIS and payroll systems and provide reporting to internal stakeholders
• Process payroll and invoice data within the global finance platform to support audit requirements
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate inputs into HR and payroll systems
• Support account management teams on payroll and billing inquiries
• Maintain strong working knowledge of regional payroll regulations and PEO compliance requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience processing payroll with expertise in Canadian payroll
• English fluency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Corporate Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of year-end processes and quarterly filings
• Experience working in global HRIS or payroll platforms
• Experience working in NetSuite or similar ERP
• Experience working in Expensify or similar expense management platforms
