Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process weekly (hourly) and biweekly (salaried) payroll
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual payroll reports for management and audits
• Review timecards for accuracy and educate managers on Time and Attendance
• Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, and 401(k) contributions
• Act as a liaison with UKG / ADP and manage positive pay data
• Handle EEO-1 and Illinois Equal Pay Act report preparation
• Maintain pay grades and manage salary/hourly vacation carryover

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of related experience
• Minimum 5 years of full payroll life cycle experience
• Proficiency in UKG or ADP
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
