Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payrolls for employees of the Australian firm
• Support the Payroll Manager with compliance regarding statutory obligations and reporting requirements
• Manage payroll-related third-party payments, including superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Finance and People & Inclusion teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll team

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and rules
• Proven experience in payroll administration and processing within a large organisation
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of business
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Fast and accurate data entry skills with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of payroll and people analytics
• Experience with time and attendance systems
• Working knowledge of large payroll systems such as SAP
