Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end bi-weekly payroll process for multiple entities
• Review and audit timesheets and resolve discrepancies with managers
• Serve as the primary resource for employee payroll inquiries and support
• Maintain payroll records including pay changes, taxes, and deductions
• Partner with payroll providers to ensure accurate tax reporting and processing
• Support compliance efforts, workers' compensation reporting, and audits

Requirements

• Experience processing payroll in a multi-state environment
• Proficiency with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Excel
• Strong understanding of payroll practices and compliance requirements
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
