Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Convert sales commission models and reports into accurate payroll data for the sales team
• Keep leadership updated on sales compensation and ensure correct integration into payroll
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries
• Ensure all processes comply with German labor and payroll laws (e.g., leave, sick pay)
• Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies or errors
• Extract, process, and visualize relevant payroll and performance data
• Continuously optimize payroll and incentive processes

Requirements

• Completed commercial training, a degree, or a comparable qualification
• Experience analyzing large datasets, ideally with payroll data
• Advanced Excel skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level)
• Strong communication skills and a data-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Personio and/or Business Central
• Background in accounting or practical experience in the field
• Foundational knowledge of German labor and payroll law
