About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee end-to-end monthly payroll operations across various EMEA countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local statutory, tax, and social security requirements
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external payroll providers to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple countries
  • Provide guidance on payroll-related topics and ensure compliance with country-specific regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements
  • Investigate and resolve payroll inquiries and exceptions, driving sustainable solutions for complex issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and implement scalable solutions to increase efficiency and service quality
  • Support payroll-related projects, including transitions, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and People Operations teams to support cross-functional initiatives and global payroll development

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, HR, Finance, or a related field, or completed vocational training in a relevant area
  • 3+ years of solid experience in payroll operations, ideally with multi-country exposure within the EMEA region
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems and strong Excel skills; knowledge of ADP is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of statutory, tax, and social security requirements across different country setups
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple payrolls and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English is required; German or additional European languages are a plus
