About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer and process payroll for clients, including updating systems with new/terminated employee info, pay rates, and deductions
- Collect, review, and verify timesheets and process the payroll cycle
- Prepare payroll-related reports, year-end tax forms, and other required documents
- Manage new hire setup and communications
- Handle garnishments, benefit plan obligations, and reporting to Accounts Payable
- Coordinate with client support for payroll agency correspondence
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Understanding of payroll laws and guidelines
- Strong technology skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
