Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Administer employee payroll processes, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits in compliance with legal standards.
• Provide first-line responses to employee queries regarding pay, taxes, benefits, and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain monthly payroll reports, bonus reviews, and statistical documentation.
• Coordinate on and offboarding activities, including state registration/de-registration and managing employee files.
• Perform regular audits of personnel files, action forms, and employment records in collaboration with HR Management.
• Maintain communication with external agencies, health and safety providers, and legal advisors as required.
• Support HR priority projects and administrative tasks to ensure all deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar payroll role within a fast-paced environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Serbian labor legislation, payroll processes, and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with high discretion.
