Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the full payment life cycle, including auditing invoice accuracy, timely submission, and resolving payment errors.
• Submit daily, routine, and ad hoc payroll, benefits, pension, and tax payments in compliance with company policy.
• Review and analyze vendor reports to ensure records are updated and accurate.
• Design and develop processes to improve accuracy and efficiency for payroll operations and regulatory agencies.
• Reconcile and audit totals between invoices, vendor reports, and payroll system reports across various dimensions.
• Provide documentation and training regarding the Hire to Retire vendor payment process.
• Monitor and review payment rejections and organize cross-functional meetings to resolve delays.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Payroll, Accounting, or Finance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent field.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Technical aptitude with database management, analysis, and/or AI tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end vendor payment processes.
• Strong understanding of benefits and payroll administration, processes, and tools.
