Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the Payroll Manager in leading the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payments for all employees.
• Conduct payroll activities and data analysis for assigned business areas in compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.
• Process all payroll-related transactions including new joiners, advances, claims, deductions, increments, and bonuses.
• Analyze current payroll practices and system processes to recommend and implement efficiency improvements.
• Perform post-payroll checks, reconcile journal vouchers, and prepare recharge reports for the Finance Department.
• Monitor and verify End of Service (EOS) calculations, attendance records, and overtime payments.
• Manage and secure payroll data repositories to ensure confidentiality and prevent information leakage.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Statistics, Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of in-depth payroll experience, preferably within the Airlines, Travel, or Tourism industries.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading payroll functions and managing a team.
• Proficiency with HRIS and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong mathematical and numerical reasoning abilities with high attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of system workflows, integrations, and change management processes.
