Payroll Senior Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive payroll processing from start to finish, ensuring precision and adherence to laws and company policies
• Review and reconcile payroll reports to detect and rectify discrepancies
• Manage the payroll email inbox and address time and attendance issues
• Assist with year-end payroll activities and tax document distribution
• Conduct annual audits including 401k and Workers Compensation
• Generate and analyze detailed payroll reports and custom reports in ADP
• Identify and implement process improvements focusing on automation and standardization
• Collaborate with PX, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination
• Provide mentorship to junior payroll staff

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• 6+ years of experience in multi-state payroll
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
• Advanced understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Global Payroll
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
