Payroll Practitioner II

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated payroll cases through thorough research and technical knowledge
• Conduct audits to identify risks and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and production integrity
• Manage complex payroll transactions including holiday pay, military pay, signing bonuses, and auto allowances
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both Payroll processes and Workday
• Facilitate global payroll process performance and controllership
• Identify, implement, and lead process improvement projects through trend and issue analysis
• Develop and communicate payroll process metrics and conduct reporting analysis
• Provide training and present content in group meetings as a Payroll SME

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant payroll work experience
• Expertise as a Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, laws, and processing
• Proficiency in payroll reporting, deductions, and timesheet management
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary to meet business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
